Jon Nelson is a contemporary artist who creates color field expressionist works with acrylic and spray – paint. Jon says that his art “…feels like a very pure essential communication without the boundaries and limitations of mind.” Jon Nelson is inspired from the experience of his daily life and from teaching others to paint.

He has been creating artwork for nearly five years now and continues to learn something new from observing and appreciating all different styles of art. He creates from his emotional status of life and through the moods of music. Art has opened doors of opportunity that he never even thought possible. What began as a hobby for fun, soon turned into something very passionate in his life. He knows that each piece of art has its own meaning and has seen his art help and inspire people to understand him in depth.

Jon Nelson and JN ARTWORX live and reside in Ventura, California. A setting that has allowed him to find an artistic home that has grown into producing and selling art on canvas, clothing, and unique hand painting baseball hats.
